Although a step up from bass 1, there are times on this record that leave me somewhat frustrated. This really only concerns the drops, which i would describe as blatantly generic, but perhaps that's my limited experience with the genre. On the other hand, the build and general tone of each track is more enjoyable than bass 1.

i've been a fan of hardcore tano*C for nearly a decade and a half, and over those years i feel like i've wavered on how much i enjoy their annual compilations as they've progressed. it could be nostalgia talking, but i still consider some of the earliest SYNDROME albums to be the most solid. i was thrilled to listen to this one and find that there were no skippable tracks, and many that go hard while being amazingly mastered. picking a best track was hard, but i could listen to ISOLATOR all day.
